Version 2026-08-25.2
InvoiceWorkFlow is a document generation tool. It takes the details you enter — names, ABNs, addresses, hours, rates, bonuses, allowances and GST settings — and formats them into invoices and related paperwork that you can download or email. It can also summarise invoice records and prepare CSV files for import into accounting software.
We do not provide accounting, taxation, payroll or legal advice, and we are not your accountant, bookkeeper or lawyer.
You are solely responsible for legally checking every document generated through this service before sending, relying on or lodging it. This includes (without limitation) the accuracy of ABNs and business details, GST treatment and tax invoice requirements, hours worked, pay rates, bonuses, allowances, superannuation, employment or contractor classification, award and workplace-law compliance, and record-keeping obligations.
We generate documents from the information you supply. We do not verify that information, and we make no representation that any generated document is complete, accurate, valid or compliant with the laws that apply to you. If you are unsure, obtain advice from a qualified accountant or lawyer before use.
You agree to use InvoiceWorkFlow only for genuine business purposes, to enter details you are entitled to use, and not to create false, misleading or fraudulent documents. You must not attempt to access other users' data, disrupt the service, or use it to send unsolicited bulk email.
Accounts may be suspended where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
We collect only what is needed to run the service: your account email and name, the company, staff, payroll and invoice details you enter, the email addresses you send invoices to, and basic technical records such as IP address, browser information and timestamps for security and audit purposes.
Your data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encryption at rest. Access is restricted by per-account access rules so that companies can only reach their own records, and individuals only their own invoices. Passwords are never stored in readable form, and one-time reset codes are stored only as irreversible hashes and expire within 15 minutes.
We use third-party providers strictly to operate the service — cloud database and hosting, and an email delivery provider for sending invoices and account emails. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
No online service can promise perfect security. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures, but you use the service at your own risk and should keep your own copies of important records.
If you upload a company logo, it is stored so it can appear on your invoices and emails. You must have permission to use that logo. If you link an individual account to a company, invoice details addressed to that company may be visible in the company's received-invoice reports. A company cannot view unrelated invoices from that individual account.
Totals, GST summaries, PDF reports and accounting CSV exports are generated from the records held in your account. They are provided for convenience and may require review or adjustment before import into accounting software. You remain responsible for reconciling each report, choosing the correct tax treatment and meeting your reporting obligations.
Invoices and related records are retained while your account is active so that you can meet your own record-keeping obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us; some records may be retained where a law requires it.
Invoices created without an account are stored against the email address supplied, and are linked to your account if you later sign up with the same email.
When you sign up, or generate an invoice without an account, we record that you accepted these terms — the email address used, when it happened, which version you accepted, and basic technical details. This record exists so both sides have proof of what was agreed.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceWorkFlow and SL Flow are not liable for any loss, penalty, fine, tax liability, missed payment, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of generated documents or the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the current version, which is always published on this page.
